PHOENICIA. Byblos. Uncertain king, circa 435-425 BC. 1/4 Shekel (Silver, 18 mm, 3.45 g). Galley with three hoplites to left; below, hippocamp left. Rev. Vulture standing left on the body of an incuse ram recumbant left with head to right. Betlyon 6. E&E-B Group III.2. HGC 10, 127. Very rare. Struck on an oval flan and somewhat porous, otherwise, very fine.
